Suggested Qualifications
Have a full knowledge of the USGA rules of Golf
Be very organized and possess leadership skills
Have great follow-up skills
Have a computer (not required but helpful)
Have the ability to deal with lots of whining and complaints from members
Be willing to give up about 15 hours (or more) of your personal time for each tournament (about 225 hours per season!)
Know how to use EXCEL spreadsheets (not required but helpful)
Attend and manage EVERY tournament in 2025
Learn or know the USGA handicap system and online portals for membership edits and updates
